Neural network

Brittany Wenger’s neural network works the same way as a brain: it learns through experience. After 7.6 million trials, the program easily recognizes patterns in biopsies that human eyes might not catch. The program allows for widespread use of fine needle aspirate biopsies, which are inexpensive and minimally invasive. Best of all, the artificial intelligence program is over 99% sensitive to malignant cancers.
