The beautiful fringe tree frog (Cruziohyla craspedopus)

The beautiful fringe tree frog (Cruziohyla craspedopus) looks like it belongs in a Hayao Miyazaki fantasy. This particular individual lives in Balsa de los Sapos, "the life raft of the frogs", in Ecuador, and is found in a range of colours, including green, blue and purple.
