The world’s largest flower "Rafflesia arnoldii" flower smells like death-, measuring 1 metre across and weighing up to 11 kg

Besides being considered the world’s largest flower, measuring 1 metre across and weighing up to 11 kg, the Rafflesia arnoldii flower smells like death. The reddish brown parasitic plant, which is endemic to the rainforest of Borneo and Sumatra, uses the rotting-carrion smell to attract flies and other pollinators.
